Don Roth Passes Away in Loma Linda

Elder D. A. (Don) Roth peacefully fell asleep in Jesus on Tuesday evening, July 26. He was surrounded by his family at his retirement home at Linda Valley Villa in Loma Linda, California.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Sabbath, July 30, from 12 noon to 3 p.m. at the Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Avenue, Redlands. Phone: 909-793-2311.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, at the Calimesa Seventh-day Adventist Church, 391 Myrtlewood Drive, Calimesa, California. A reception will be held in the church’s fellowship hall immediately after the service.

The burial will be private, for family members and invited guests.

In lieu of flowers, Roth family members suggest donations to the Don Roth Deferred Mission Appointee Fund, which has been established at Loma Linda University. Make checks payable to LLU with “Don Roth” on the memo line and mail them to Office of Philanthropy, Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, CA 92350. They will send a letter and receipt to each donor as well as a letter of notification to Elder Roth’s family.

Elder Roth is survived by his wife, Doris, and his family.
