Inventory of Seventh-day Adventist Health Care Professionals
For some years Dr Gordon Goude has been compiling a list of Adventist health care workers from around the world.
He was a medical missionary in Nigeria and has been very active in the Adventist International Medical Society.
In conjunction with Dr Handysides of the GC Medical Department and Elder Don Roth, the
GC medical representative on the Loma Linda University campus, Dr. Goude has developed a questionnaire to
inventory the Adventist health care workers regardless of their work settings and employers. A database will be
generated to help identify those who may be interested in opportunities for short term volunteer work as well as those
interested in long-term appointments.
The questionnaire will be posted on the AIMS and LLU Alumni websites. And it will be available at General Conference
next summer. Union papers are being requested to publish it or at least provide URL links to the on-line version.
All health care workers -- nurses, physicians, dentists, dental hygeinests, lab techs, xray techs, physical
therapists, dieticians, public health workers, pharmacists, medical records specialists, etc. -- are invited
to complete and submit a questionnaire.
